There are two ways to manage subscriptions for teams. You can either assign a single subscription with multiple seats to the team, and have team members access these seats automatically, or require members to have their own existing Pro or Enterprise subscriptions to join. You can specify whether to use team or individual subscriptions from the Manage Team page in the account menu.

Assigning Subscriptions

Assigning subscriptions is prefereable for businesses and institutions managing purchases for multiple users. Choosing this option will automatically allocate seats on your subscription to members in your team. Other admins in your team will also be able to make changes by updating the number of seats or cancelling the subscription. After assigning your subscription to the team, you can click ‘Manage Subscription’ from the account menu or team menu to update the number of seats. You will need one seat for each team member you intend to invite to your team.
When asssigning your subscription the total credit pool (monthly credits * number of seats) is shared accross all team members unless you specify individual credit limits.

Individual Subscriptions

Teams with individual subscriptions are prefereable for users with their own individual accounts that may work in teams from time to time. Choosing this option will require team members to subscribe to Runchat Pro or Enterprise before they can accept invitations to your team. Changing the number of seats on your own individual subscription will not make these seats available to other members of the team (though it will increase your available credits).
Credits are used and consumed by individual accounts and are not shared between members on the team.

Changing the team subscription

Admins can remove an assigned subscription by clicking the ‘Remove Subscription’ button at the top of the team page. Removing a subscription will also remove all existing team members. These team members can be re-invited and will need an active Pro or Enterprise subscription to rejoin the team.
