1. Install the Addon

Download Runchat for Blender

Get the latest version: runchat-blender-v1.2.0.zipClick to download and start creating with AI in Blender today!

Install in Blender

  • Open Blender (3.0+) → Edit → Preferences → Add-ons
  • Click Install from Disk and select the downloaded zip file
  • Enable “Runchat Blender Addon”

2. Add Your API Key

Add to Blender

  • Go to Properties → Scene → Runchat Workflow
  • Paste your API key in the “API Key” field
Your API key is stored securely and never saved with your blend files.

3. Run Your First Workflow

Choose Example

In the Runchat panel, select an example workflow like “Text to 3D”

Add Description

Enter a text description: “A wooden chair with curved legs”

Execute

Click “Execute Runchat” and wait for results (30 seconds - 5 minutes)

Import Results

Generated content automatically appears in Blender or click import buttons

Panel Overview

Find the Runchat panel at: Properties → Scene Properties → Runchat Workflow
  • Workflow Selection: Choose from examples or enter custom workflow IDs
  • Inputs: Add text descriptions, upload images, or capture viewport
  • Execution: Run workflows with real-time progress tracking
  • Outputs: View results and import into Blender with one click

Custom Workflows

Create your own workflows at runchat.app/editor, then use the workflow ID in Blender. Extract the ID from URLs like: runchat.app/editor?id=your-workflow-id

Quick Troubleshooting

Enable the addon in Preferences → Add-ons and restart Blender
Verify your key is correct and your account has credits
Normal times: 30 seconds (images) to 5 minutes (3D models)
Use manual download buttons if auto-import fails
